Regularly remind yourself of your goals, mission, purpose, intentions and focus.

Constantly bring your thoughts back to your “why”, and what you want to do with your time, energy and effort. The more you can do this, the better.

Create the habit of thinking about your purpose before each WOD, and as soon as you feel your focus shift towards an undesired, unhealthy, or unproductive thoughts.

LOTS of people ask me how to "get rid of fear, or nervousness, etc" - because they think that they aren't confident if they experience doubt, or worry and that they won't be able to perform their best. WRONG...well definitely an unhelpful way of thinking. That's NOT a strong belief and that won't empower you to go after greatness.

Instead, understand that fear, and anxiety can come along for the ride, but that they don't need to control or limit your ability. They can be present but not restrict you. You can sense them but not be overwhelmed or shut down by them. You can do great things and excel in spite of them. The best of the best aren't waiting for nerves or fear to go away, they are out purposefully attacking those things that create uneasiness, because those are often the things that are the most meaningful.

Change your thinking to achieve the greatness you desire.
